Sardines Tartare

This delicious sardines tartare recipe was submitted to Chef’s Pencil by one of Croatia’s best chefs – Marina Gaši. Marina is the owner and chef of a seaside restaurant in Croatia where the main attraction are its delicious fresh seafood dishes.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 500 gr sardines
  • salt
  • curry
  • ginger powder
  • soy sauce
  • extra virgin olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Clean well the sardines and remove the skin and bones.
  • Cut the sardines with a well sharpened knife and add all the ingredients. Mix with a fork.
  • Serve with pickled onions.
