Blanched Green beans with Asian Sauce

Green beans are a delicious and versatile vegetable enjoyed in various dishes. If you’re looking for a tasty and super healthy way to prepare your green beans, this blanched green beans recipe is a must-try.

The dish features a flavorful Asian sauce of soy sauce, white wine vinegar, lemon juice, honey, chili pepper, ginger, and garlic.

These ingredients combine to create a sweet and tangy sauce with just the right amount of heat from the chili pepper. The green beans are blanched until tender but still crisp, then tossed in the sauce, coating each one with its delicious flavors.

Instructions:

1. To blanche the green beans, you need to cook them for 2-3 minutes in boiling water and then place them in cold or iced water.

2. Start preparing the Asian sauce by finely chopping the chili and the green onion, grate the garlic and ginger, then mix all these ingredients with the soy sauce, vinegar, lemon juice, and honey.

4. In a heated pan, add a drizzle of olive oil and fry the crushed garlic for 2-3 seconds. Add the blanched green beans and cook everything together for 1-2 minutes.
